Day 1, 04/07/12, getting started with exercise already…

I decided today is the day to get started. I’m in kind of a catch 22 with this website. I keep wanting to have a better idea of what I’m doing with the site before I start exercising, etc. Meanwhile I feel terrible, so I am just jumping in. I’ll worry about the site later…

I don’t want to go beyond a daily exercise log type of thing right now so I am keeping these posts sparse.

I’m going to start really slow. My back has been bothering me, I’d like to do some basic stretching exercises today and walk on the treadmill for awhile. I might possibly go to the local high school track instead. Haven’t decided yet.

Anyway, I just wanted to start to start. So here it is 🙂

Did waist twisting with 10 pound barbells

Stretched all around with 25s
Side to side
dead lifts
twisted and held it
just tried to really stretch things out

no real lifting
feels good

going to treadmill
did a good solid 20 minutes. 22 total roughly.

Got a curl bar and just put it behind my back. Did some more stretching.
Trying to stretch my back out.
Cracking here and there.

It’s been bothering me.
Feel like it is causing sore muscles and cramps in my legs and side.

Feeling pretty good right now.
